The Research & Development Department (Litbang) of Kompas, the largest newspaper in Indonesia, predicted that Ganjar Pranowo might suffer a potential loss of votes after a polemic surrounding the FIFA U-20 World Cup. Ganjar, as we all know, was among governors from the ruling party PDIP that rejected the participation of Israel in U-20 World Cup that eventually led Indonesia to lose the hosting rights of the tournament.
