Yoory Corneles Pinontoan, the former president director of the Regional Public Corporation Pembangunan Sarana Jaya (PD Sarana Jaya), was convicted in March 2022 for abusing his authority and committing corruption. The case is related to a land acquisition for the DP 0% housing program, which was the flagship program of Governor Anies Baswedan, and was investigated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Nearly a year after the verdict was given, towards the end of last week, the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim POLRI) announced that they were investigating a similar case and had named Yoory as a suspect.
