President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo has just inaugurated commercial operation of Semantok Dam in Nganjuk, East Java province this week. Built since 2017, this is one of 30 dams inaugurated by Jokowi in the past few years, making him a president with aggressive development of water infrastructure.
