In the beginning of 2019, Government through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) announced that there are 12 Renewable Energy (EBT) power plant which is planned to be operational within four years. The operation of the 12 Waste Power Plants (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Sampah – PLTSa) is expected to increase the electricity production capacity in each region. There is not much media attention in this project even though it is specifically regulated in a Presidential Regulation. Now, over three years later, instead of news about the achievement of the PLTSa development target, we learned of a dispute regarding the Putri Cempo PLTSa in Solo.To subscribe please click here
