Major bourses in Asia mainly fell on Tuesday, tracking a pullback on Wall Street overnight after a report Apple would slow hiring. The Hang Seng slipped over 1% and the Shanghai Composite also dropped, as daily COVID-19 cases in China rose again with Shanghai rolling out new mass testing or extending lockdowns. The Nikkei was at a 3-week peak, however, as traders returned from a holiday amid a slew of upbeat US earnings results.
