TaniHub was founded in 2016 by Ivan Arie Sustiawan, Pamitra Wineka, Michael Jovan Tan, Eka Setya Adrianto, and Rio Ferdian with a vision to empower farmers through technology. As an agritech e-commerce platform, TaniHub connected farmers directly with consumers, including businesses such as restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets, to shorten the distribution chain and improve farmers’ welfare. Additionally, TaniHub Group established TaniFund, a peer-to-peer lending service that provided farmers with access to financing. With a business model combining technology and financial inclusion, TaniHub was once considered one of Indonesia’s most promising agritech startups.
