President Prabowo Subianto made Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, his campaign manager in the 2024 presidential election, as the Minister of Investment & Downstreaming. Unlike in the previous administration of Jokowi, Rosan is now having more authority. In Prabowo’s cabinet, Rosan is no longer working under the coordination of Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan’s Coordinating Ministry for Investment & Maritime, which is already liquidated, but under the coordination of the Coordinating Minister for Economy Airlangga Hartarto.
