The government of Indonesia imposed a bauxite export ban on June 10, 2023, in accordance with President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) order to encourage the domestic bauxite processing and refining industry. Jokowi emphasized that the industrialization of bauxite in the country will increase state revenue from Rp21 trillion to around Rp62 trillion.To subscribe please click here
