Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Perry Warjiyo reiterated that there is no need to increase the benchmark interest rate, the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR). BI has in February 16, 2023 maintained its benchmark interest rate at 5.75%, after lifting since July 2022.
