The last hearing on the trial of Hadinoto Soedigno, Garuda Indonesia’s former executive vice director for Engineering and Maintenance Services, was held in mid-2021. Hadinoto was found guilty for alleged involvement in the scheme of corruption conducted under the leadership of Emirsyah Satar. That was the last time we heard of the case before the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) commenced a different investigation. We thought the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) had stopped working on the case, until wr learned this week that they had named a former member of the House of Representatives as new suspect in the case.
