Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 112/2022 was published last month. Not much attention is given, but the provisions of this Perpres will have an impact in the future. In addition to increasing investment, Perpres 112 also aims to accelerate the achievement of the target for the renewable energy mix in the national energy mix in accordance with the National Energy Policy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The Government has also planned to end the operation of several Steam Power Plants (PLTU) in the near future.
