The Indonesian Government is confident enough with the result of its pilot in Bali, Bintan, and Batam to scrap the quarantine requirement for overseas arrivals. The Government will only require a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) screening upon entry, but it is not clear whether or not the result would be instantaneous. We will learn more when the Ministry of Transportation releases an updated regulation, but for now, at least it is clear that Indonesia is striding toward COVID endemic scenario.To subscribe please click here
