Police Inspector General Ari Dono Sukmanto (54) has been made the new chief of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim POLRI) to replace Commissioner General Anang Iskandar, who has just entered his mandatory retirement age. Ari is expected to be sworn in tomorrow (May 31) and so he will hold the third most powerful position in the National Police and earn his third star.
