As predicted, the ruling party PDI-P has revisited the idea of nominating Commissioner General Budi Gunawan, the deputy chief of the National Police, as the new Police Chief to replace General Badrodin Haiti, who will enter his mandatory retirement age on July 24, 2016. As such, PDI-P rejected the idea of extending Badrodin’s tenure. In the meantime, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has not yet given any comment on the matter.To subscribe please click here
