State Electricity Company (PLN)’s suspension of the tender for the steam-powered plant (PLTU) Jawa 5 has got on Sudirman Said’s nerves. Several of our contacts at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) told us that the Minister was livid when PLN decided to suspend the tender of Jawa 5 for that plant is supposed to be one of the major parts of the 35,000 MW project.
