President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo was pleased with progress of Pejagan-Pemalang toll road, where construction of 21 KM out of the 55KM toll road has been completed after two decades of delay. He was also upbeat with the start of Batang-Semarang toll road next month. No doubt that he has shown strong determination in infrastructure development. This is, however, clearly not enough to lure foreign investors without improvement in the country’s ease of doing business index.To subscribe please click here
