2017 Jakarta Election: Moeldoko, Sjafrie & More to Enter the Race?

More and more names have been mentioned as potential candidates for becoming the contenders of the incumbent Governor of Jakarta Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama in Jakarta’s 2017 gubernatorial election (scheduled for February 2017). After previously holding on to Sandiaga “Sandy” Salahuddin Uno, Gerindra prepared two more names as potential gubernatorial candidates, i.e., the former Vice Minister of Defense Lt. Gen.
