The Government of Special Region of the Capital City Jakarta changed the way it manages public service ever since the day of Joko “Jokowi” Widodo. The then Governor Jokowi, with the help of his second-in-command Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama, overhauled the Capity City Government’s recruitment system, and its rewards and punishment mechanism. But beyond that, the pair, mostly led by the visions of Ahok, went ahead with efforts to enhance public service with the help of information technology.
