To protect the “morality” of the nation, and local culture, Trade Minister Rachmat Gobel issued the Ministerial Regulation Number 6/2015, barring the sales of alcoholic beverages with less than 5 percent alcohol content, i.e., beer, in convenience stores throughout the country.
