Those Turn to Positive & Jump in Profit
Sinarmas Group may have suffered from falling prices of crude palm oil, but its pulp and paper subsidiary Indah Kiat generated net profit of US$340.5 million in the first half, skyrocketed 98.8% from the corresponding period last year. Feed producer Sierad Produce, electronic products retailer Electronic City, ice cream producer Campina, and consumer goods producer Kino Indonesia were all gainers in the period.
