Domestic investors opted to sell local stocks on Tuesday (Jan. 9) for realizing short term gains after recent market rally. The composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) fell 0.19% to close at 6,373 yesterday, but closed off its low of 6,351. Foreign investors, otherwise, kept buying local stocks, for seven consecutive trading days. They booked a net buy of Rp573.55 billion yesterday, bringing year-to-date net buy to Rp1.98 trillion.
