The Chief of the National Police (POLRI) General Tito Karnavian is another close aide of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo that’s been hit by criticism from the hardline-Muslim groups associated in the so-called Brotherhood of 212 Alumni (PA 212). The PA 212 asks President Jokowi to dismiss Tito because of the latter’s speech, which they believe discriminated against other Muslim groups outside the Nadhlatul Ulama (NU) and the Muhammadiyah.
