The latest survey result released by Charta Politika shows the incumbent Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo at the top of the electability rank. far ahead of his contender Sudirman Said. The incumbents in West Java and East Java, however, are not so lucky.

Polling agency Charta Politika has revealed that Prabowo leads in Banten with 28.5% electability. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, meanwhile, is slightly behind with 26.9% electability. Other names surveyed like Gatot Nurmantyo, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Anies Baswedan, and Hary Tanoesoedibjo all scored less than 2%. Charta, moreover, found that Prabowo also leads in a head-to-head scenario against Jokowi—Prabowo secured 44.1% of the votes, while Jokowi collected 36.9%. This should serve as a wake up call for Jokowi and his team.

Mapping Jokowi’s 2019: East Java
The polling agency Charta Politika released an interesting survey result on the electability of President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and his strongest potential rival Prabowo Subianto in East Java. The pollster found Jokowi’s electability far ahead of Prabowo’s in the province. East Java, as we all know, is the second most populous province in the country where more than 30 million voters or 16% of the country’s voters live.
