This is the year of Indonesia’s presidency of the G20. It’s a big issue for the leadership, but now Russia is in the midst of a war with Ukraine. So one wonders whether Russia will continue to participate in the G20 events this year. The G20 platform is where Russia gets to meet with the United States and the European Union. The G20 meetings will not wholly serve their purpose without Russia on the table. Such a scenario, though caused by something beyond Indonesia’s control, would not look good for Indonesia.To subscribe please click here
