Also, tighter curbs to fight the spread of the Delta strain in China are starting to hit more parts of the economy, as port congestion worsens. The Kospi led the losses, dragged down by Samsung Electronics. However, stocks in Australia hit a fresh high again and are on track to post weekly solid gain, on robust domestic earnings reports.
