Indofood Sukses Makmur (INDF), the largest food company in Indonesia owned by Salim Group, booked profit attributable to owners of Rp3.43 trillion in the first half (H1) of 2021, grew 21% year on year (y/y), with a net profit margin of 7.3%, up from 7.2% from H1 of 2020. Its core profit grew 37% y/y to Rp3.92 trillion. Net sales rose 20% to Rp47.29 trillion, and operating profit increased 51% to Rp8.49 trillion.
