Coal miner Golden Energy Mines (GEMS) booked a net profit of US$145.98 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, jumped 170% year on year (y/y) as revenues rose 28% to US$733 billion and operating profit surged 165% to US$200.5 million. On the cash flow balance, GEMS generated net cash of US$158.38 million from operating activities during H1 this year, higher than the US$33.5 million it generated in H1 last year. It spent US$8.5 million on investment, higher than US$5.6 million a previous year.
