State-owned Bank Mandiri (BMRI) booked a net profit of Rp12.5 trillion in the first half (H1) of 2021, grew 21.5% year on year (y/y) as net interest income grew 21.5% to Rp35.16 trillion and non-interest income rose 17.3% to Rp15.94 trillion. The provision only increased 6.9% y/y to Rp11 trillion, then profit from operation grew 29.6% to Rp18 trillion.
