Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said on Thursday (April 22) that the state budget spending had improved in the first quarter (Q1) of 2021. It grew 15.6% year on year (y/y) to Rp523 trillion, or 19% of this year’s target. The spending by ministries/institutions rose 41.2% to Rp201.6 trillion, and spending by non-ministries/institutions increased 9.9% to Rp148.5 trillion. Transfer to regions and village funds inched down 0.9% to Rp173 trillion as transfers to regions fell 2.9% to Rp162.4 trillion. Otherwise, village funds rose 46.3% to Rp10.6 trillion.
