Mulia Industrindo (MLIA), a maker of building materials, booked a net profit of Rp124.7 billion in the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, against a loss of Rp22.9 billion in the same period of 2020, as sales rose 9.4% year on year (y/y) to Rp1.08 trillion. The Company’s gross profit jumped 75.9% to Rp343 billion, and it also recorded a Rp2.6 billion gain on foreign exchange (forex) transactions, against a loss of Rp54.8 billion a previous year.
