Indonesia’s consumer confidence index increased 7.6 points from the previous month to 93.4 in March 2021, amid the massive COVID-19 vaccination program. It was the strongest reading since last December, as the all of the six main sub-indices strengthened: current economic conditions (up 7.5 points to 72.6); the assessment of current income (up 7.4 points to 78.2); job availability compared to six months ago (up 11.8 points to 59.6), income expectations for the next six months (up 4.4 points to 121.5), economic outlook (up 7.6 points to 114.1) and job availability expectations (up 9.4 points to 109.8).
