Asian equities lifted in early Tuesday trade as US stock futures held near record highs with investors optimistic ahead of US corporate earnings season and data releases later this week, while bond yields rose only slightly as the US Treasury’s auctions of three- and 10-year notes attracted decent demand. The NZX 50 led gains among the region, lifting 136.1 points or 1.09% while the KOSPI added 22.38 points or 0.75% to trade at fresh 8-week highs.
