Retailer Sumber Alfaria Trijaya (AMRT), the operator of Alfamart convenience store outlets, booked a net profit of Rp1.06 trillion in 2020—a 4.6% year on year (y/y) decline—as operating profit fell 5.7% to Rp1.69 trillion. AMRT’s revenue grew 4% to Rp75.83 trillion. In the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2020, the Company booked a net profit of Rp423 billion, a 224% jump from the previous quarter, reflecting a strong recovery amid the pressures of the COVID-19 pandemic. Compared to Q4 of 2019, the figure declined 8.5%.
