After integrating with PT Bangkok Bank Indonesia, Bank Permata (BNLI) announced to issue 88 billion new shares (rights issue) in the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, with the fund used to fund its capital expenditure (capex). Said rights issue also aims to fulfill the free float requirement. After being acquired by Bangkok Bank Public Co. Ltd., the public ownerships in Bank Permata lowered to 1.3%, while the minimum free float is set at 7.5%.
