The central bank (Bank Indonesia/BI) reported on Tuesday (October 13) that the growth of outstanding loans disbursed by the banking industry decelerated to 0.12% (yoy) in September 2020 from 1.04% (yoy) in Aug. 2020. In contrast, deposit growth accelerated from 11.64% (yoy) in August 2020 to 12.88% (yoy) on the back of fiscal expansion.
