Bank Central Asia (BBCA) plans to merge its Islamic bank’ subsidiary, PT BCA Syariah with the newly acquired firm, PT Bank Rabobank International Indonesia. According to the director, Vera Eve Lim in an official statement last week, after the merge, the unit’s capital is estimated to reach Rp2 trillion. The merger will be concluded by early of 2021 and lift the unit’s category from BUKU 2.
