The Indonesian Government will place Rp30 trillion in state-owned banks, taken from the government fund in the central bank (Bank Indonesia/BI). According to Law Number 2/2020 concerning State Financial Policy and Financial System Stability for Handling the COVID-19 and the Finance Minister Decree Number 70/2020 regarding the placement of state money in commercial banks, the Minister of Finance will place the government fund in state-owned banks for accelerating economic recovery.
