Bangkok Bank has officially acquired 89.12% shares of Bank Permata (BNLI) on Wednesday (May 20) at the price of Rp1,346.97 per share, Rp33.66 trillion, or 1.63 x price to book value (PBV) of BNLI per March 2020. Astra International (ASII) and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) raised Rp16.83 trillion each from divesting BNLI shares. Bangkok Bank will then launch the tender offer for 10.88% BNLI shares.
