Singapore’ BOC Aviation Limited has purchased eight new A330NEO family aircraft from Airbus. All eight aircrafts are scheduled for delivery to Lion Air Group in 2019 and 2020. Furthermore, BOC Aviation said, Lion Air will have the option to acquire four of the aircraft at delivery.

Previously in April, 2018, Boeing (NYSE: BA), an American multinational corporation and the Lion Air Group announced the airline purchased 50 of Boeing’s new 737 MAX 10 airplanes. The deal, valued at approximately US$6.24 billion, is the largest incremental order to date of the MAX 10 variant.

In March, Lion Air has received the delivery of Boeing 737 MAX 9 and will using to added capacity to launch several international routes.

Lion Air has announced its commitment to bring in 50 new Boeing 737 MAX 10. It also has a long-term order to bring in 1,273 units of MAX series, making the group as one of the largest airline operators in the world.
