Selling pressure continued both for the stock market and the local currency rupiah as perception of risks grew. The composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed down 0.77% at 5,694 on Friday last week (July 6). The rupiah weakened further to Rp 14,409 against the U.S. dollar.
