United Tractors (UNTR), subsidiary of Astra International, spent Rp2.5 trillion in the first quarter (Q1) of this year, mostly (90%) used for purchasing heavy equipments for Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA), to support its mining contracting business. UNTR allocates capital expenditure (capex) of US$800-850 million for this year, the highest capex in its history.
