Cigarette market leader HM Sampoerna (HMSP) booked net profit of Rp12.67 trillion last year, down slightly from Rp12.76 trillion in 2016. Sales revenues grew 3.8% to Rp99.09 trillion even though overall market slipped 2.6% to reflect a soft economic environment and the impact of above-inflation excise tax-driven price increases.To subscribe please click here
