Imports to Indonesia jumped 26.44% from a year earlier to US$15.13 billion in January of 2018, following an upwardly revised 18.08% rise in the prior month, the Central Statistics Bureau (BPS) reported today. Purchases of non-oil and gas surged 28.08% to US$12.99 billion and those of oil and gas soared by 17.35% to US$2.15 billion. Compared to December 2017, inbound shipments edged up 0.26%.
