National car sales grew 11% to 95,892 units in January 2018, from 86,262 units in the same period of last year, mainly supported by growing appetite to buy new cars. Based on data from the Association of Indonesian Automotive Industries (Gaikindo), Toyota sold 25,405 units (26.49% of total car sales), followed by Daihatsu 18,788 units (19.59%), and Mitsubishi 17,753 units (18.51%).
