Minister of Public Works and People’s Housing, Basuki Hadimuljono confirmed that the Trans Java toll road, connecting the western and eastern tip of the Java Island, could be fully operational by the end of 2018 following the completion of the land acquisition in some sections of the toll road this month. The government will also gradually complete the construction of the Trans-Jaya toll road along 4,350 kilometers, 2,900 kilometer Trans Sumatra of Lampung-Banda Aceh and the 660 kilometer Trans Java Trans-Java toll road.
