Oil and gas lifting reached 1.94 million barrels oil equivalent per day (boepd) in 2017, achieving 98.9% of target set on state budget (1.96 million boepd). Oil lifting totaled 803,800 bopd while gas lifting reached 1.14 million boepd. The upstream oil and gas sector contributed US$13.1 billion to the State in 2017 and cost recovery totaled US$11.3 billion. Indonesian crude oil price is set at US$48 per barrel for 2018, but market oil price reached US$51.19 per barrel.
