Asia Pacific Fiber (POLY) has proposed to Finance Ministry to support its debt restructuring, so as the Company will resume the operation of its purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant. This plant stopped operation in 2015 due burdening operating costs inline with the high gas prices. POLY has revamped the said plant, changing the role of production line, which costs for US$50 million. This revamping of plant takes 2.5 years.
