PDIP has decided to endorse the incumbent governor candidate Saefullah Yusuf (currently vice governor) and his running mate Abdullah Azwar Anas for the East Java’s 2018 gubernatorial election. While for South Sulawesi, the Party decided to endorse Nurdin Abdullah (currently regent of Bantaeng) and his running mate Andi Sudirman Sulaiman as their pair of governor and vice governor candidates.
