Indonesian Life Insurance Association (AAJI) recorded that life insurance industry booked premium income of Rp116.35 trillion in first half (H1) this year, grew 16.49% from H1 last year. Premium income rose 18.81% to Rp88.66 trillion. Premium of new business increased 28.4% to Rp55.73 trillion. While total claims and benefits grew 18.7% to Rp53.08 trillion.
