State airport operator PT Angkasa Pura I plans to build new terminal in Sam Ratulangi airport in Manado, Sulawesi with capacity of up to 30,000 passengers. The existing terminal only has capacity of 26,000. This said new terminal will be built next year and will take one year for its construction. The tourist passengers visiting North Sulawesi is growing significantly then new terminal is needed to serve the jump in number of passengers.
